Beautiful sunrise at the 2,200 m elevation field site along the Mt. Wilhelm elevational gradient in Northern Papua New Guinea.

I enjoy conducting both natural and manipulation studies to investigate mechanisms underlying assemblies of organismal communities and host-microbe associations. During my PhD, I conducted field work in tropical Papua New Guinea. But I have also conducted field work in USA, Ecuador, Czech Republic, South Africa, and Ivory Coast during my research carrier.
I conduct manipulations studies with wild Great tits in Czech Republic through my  collaboration with Dr. Katerina Sam's Lab.
My field work in South Africa and Ivory Coast focused on fungus-farming termites in collaboration with Dr. Michael Poulsen
I am also involved in multiple other research projects that take place around the world, including in Norway, The Canary Islands, and Cameroon.
